MILNER IN FORM FOR WATFORD GAME
Nothing could excite a coach more than to be sure that he has a complete squad ready for an upcoming match and enough quality substitutes.
Thus, it is not hard to spot why James Milner’s return is an important one for Jurgen Klopp and the entire Liverpool team.
The news that Milner is back with the squad for full time training ahead of Liverpool’s game against Watford at the weekend has been received as a boost for Liverpool.
Milner was forced to miss the last game against Crystal Palace which saw them in a 4-2 win due to an illness which made sure he was sidelined and substituted with Albert Moreno.
The 30-year old who was desperate to feature can now do so having received a clean bill of health. While he was absent however, Liverpool saw Spaniard sensation, Alberto Moreno fill in the gap for him with quality play in the match against Crystal Palace. A wonderful assist which he was able to give to Emre Can that led to a goal did not go unnoticed.
This might likely give Jurgen Klopp a bit of a headache in making a choice of who amongst the duo will feature in the Watford game. Still yet, the possibility of Milner, the vice captain of Liverpool, walking back into the starting XI against Watford is high.
So far this season, Milner has had a good start, having been a revelation at the left back position. His consistent form and his experience has come to the fore.
In addition to that, this season has already seen him score four spot kicks making him quite an impressive player. Liverpool will host Watford at Anfield, where they hope to win a seventh league game out of eight games.
